Across The Silver Sea
'Accross The Silver Sea' was an exhibition of oil paintings at Yarmouth Gallery in September 2013 which was part of the first ever 'IW Festival Of The Sea'.
This group of almost monochrome paintings was inspired by observing light and shade passing across the surface of the sea. I tried to convey something of feeling of space and continuity of the sea's apparently flat surface as it curves away into the distance.
