I work in my studio at Freshwater Bay for at least two or three hours most days. I work on several canvases at a time, developing an idea slowly, building richness and texture over a period of time until I feel satisfied. Sometimes this can happen quite quickly, but it may take a period of months or even, dare I admit, years. When a painting is complete, it goes to a gallery to be displayed to the public, most often to Yarmouth Gallery. Commissioned work tends to go straight to the home of its new owner. Potential buyers can visit my studio by appointment, or wait for an Open Studio event.
