Dark images from 20 years ago

I recently received an envelope full of photographs of paintings completed in the 1990s that I had totally forgotten. Delighted to see them again and quite surprised that they are so dark and intense. I thought I might share some with you. The photographs are a bit distorted and so I can't show this diptych of the Yarmouth Harbour as a whole because I needed to square them up, but here they are as separate images. I still like the smudgy, inky quality of the paint.
